An internship at E.ON Energy Trading
Leyre Truchuelo, intern, Spain

"I was looking for a new challenge where I could develop my career in, if possible, a multicultural environment. That’s why I decided E.ON could be a great opportunity, because it’s an international business in one of the world’s most dynamic industry sectors. I applied for an internship position now I'm working for the Strategy department.

It was great that from the very beginning I had plenty of responsibilities and really felt that I was part of the team. After a short time getting familiar with the business, I started taking part in the development of a strategy document, and supported its communication to the different departments. I also produced a template for the analysis of markets and competitors.

Throughout my internship I was able to build the trust of the team and my managers and was offered a contract as a strategy analyst. I accepted immediately and will start shortly. So happily, my time at E.ON will last much longer.

What I like the most about my job is that it gives me the chance to work in a big international company, surrounded by great professionals, with amazing opportunities to learn and give my best every single day."
