Using market analysis to contribute to commercial achievements
Employee focus: Elin Sundström – manager of oil and gas analysis

Elin is the manager of oil and gas analysis in the Market Analysis department. Elin joined E.ON Energy Trading from E.ON’s Swedish trading office in Malmö and has been working in Düsseldorf since the beginning of 2008.

"My team mainly supports our Front Office colleagues in the trading and commodity optimization of oil and gas. Our analysts need to have an in-depth understanding of markets, strong analytical capabilities and good communication skills. The markets change continuously, so there’s a need for both urgent actions with tight deadlines and deeper research on longer-term projects. In Market Analysis, we aim to contribute to the company’s commercial achievements through high quality fundamental market analysis.

The best part of my work is when a good piece of analysis is produced that has a visible impact on the company. I’ve worked for E.ON for six years and the company has provided me with rich possibilities to develop both professionally and personally through training programs, networks and opportunities to take up new challenges both in Sweden and internationally."
