Klaus Schäfer to be new CEO of E.ON Energy Trading, Hans-Peter Floren appointed to Board

The E.ON Group has today announced that Klaus Schäfer will become CEO of E.ON Energy Trading with effect from 1st October 2011. He has also been appointed Member of the Board with immediate effect and will hold this post in addition to his current responsibilities as CEO of E.ON Ruhrgas. Schäfer replaces Tony Cocker, who will leave E.ON Energy Trading and become CEO of E.ON UK starting 1st October 2011.

Hans-Peter Floren has been appointed as a new Member of the Board for E.ON Energy Trading with immediate effect, in addition to his role at E.ON Ruhrgas.

At the same time, Christopher Delbrück, Gareth Griffiths and Egbert Laege, all Board Members of E.ON Energy Trading, will be appointed as Board Members of E.ON Ruhrgas.
