E.ON Energy Trading has today named David Finch as director of coal, freight and biomass trading, and announced the appointment of three senior traders to its coal and freight desks.

David joins from Essent Trading in Geneva, where he spent three years as director of coal, freight and biomass trading. Prior to that, he was a vice president with Duke Energy’s trading business in Houston. Based at the company’s Düsseldorf headquarters, David will be responsible for growing E.ON Energy Trading’s coal, freight and biomass trading business.

He will be joined in his team by three new senior traders, all from Essent Trading - lead coal trader Martin Rozendaal, lead coal trader Gustavo Fernandez and freight trader David Blanch.
