The E.ON Energy Trading is searching for

Trainees (m/f) – Trading Qualification Program

Responsibilities

  • Placements in various sections of our Energy Trading
    • Forward Trading
    • Spot Trading
    • Stock Exchange Trading
    • and various sections of our Middle and Back Office (e. g. Portfolio Management, Risk Controlling) planned individually with your mentor; additionally one placement in an E.ON Unit (abroad, if applicable)
  • Build up network and gather different perspectives de to rotating trainee placements
  • Acquirement of the Trading Certificate at the European Energy Exchange (EEX)
  • Participation in Energy, Trading and Soft Skill Trainings
  • The target of the Program is to transfer the trainees into an unlimited assignment. Therefore you will plan your future placement at E.ON Energy Trading together with us at least three months before finalizing the program

Qualifications

  • Completed a university degree within the standard study period, achieving very good grades in one of the following quantitative major areas of study: Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Energy Industry, Maths, Physics, or similar
  • Ideally, completed subject-related internships
  • Experience living abroad desirable
  • Fluency in English and German or other foreign languages desirable
  • A high level of flexibility, strong communication skills, motivation, structured working method and self-initiative
  • Very good skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

General Conditions

Limitation: 18 Months
Availability: November 1, 2008
Work schedule: Full Time
